Setting yourself up for success with a new fitness regime!
Happy Monday everyone! 23 days of winter left. That is just over 3 weeks until spring! When the warmer weather hits where would you like to be with your health and fitness? If you are feeling crappy then now is the time to make those sustainable changes to become a fitter and healthier you! Try these 5 things to set your self up with a new fitness routine:
- If you are stuck in a rut with your Fitness then why not try something new? There are countless options out there. Walking, Running, Group Fitness, at Home Programmes, 24 hr Gyms, Fitness Studios, Personal Training, Yoga, Zumba……the list goes on! No one thing suits everyone and it is so important to enjoy what you are doing. If you hate it you are unlikely to keep going!
- Workout first thing in the morning so you do not have time to talk yourself out of it. Lay out your outfit the night before and set your alarm with a motivational message attached!
- Meet a friend for a walk, run or class. Being committed to yourself is one thing but knowing you are committed to meeting someone else can often be the push you need to get started.
- 4. Nourish your body with good food quality unprocessed food so you have the energy to want to workout! Eating well and exercising go hand in hand.
- 5. Make a plan for the week on a Sunday. Make sure it is realistic and going to fit in with your week! If you have to make adjustments then do.
