How to eat “clean”!
You would have had to have your head under a rock for a couple of years now if you haven’t heard of the expression “clean eating”! So what actually is it? There are varying opinions on what encompasses a clean diet but basically it means to eat whole, unprocessed foods from each food group. It is relatively easy to follow as you are not restricting intake. I still recommend being aware of calories and watching portion size particularly if you are trying to lose weight. You should always feel hungry for your next meal but never starving!
I am a firm believer in keeping balance in your life and recommend you eat clean most of the time. However since I have been eating this way I have noticed numerous health benefits. Particularly with my digestive system. I have more energy, less bloating and feel happier generally. Because of this I find I am eating less and less processed or sugary snacks.
